Zeus

Torre Annunziata sits between Pompeii and the sea, at the foot of Vesuvius, and is one corner of the most improbable triangle in the European sports industry: that of the Neapolitan teamwear brands, with Legea of Pompeii and Givova of Scafati as neighbours and rivals. Zeus Sport was born there in 1999, founded by young entrepreneurs with a simple plan, to dress the academies and amateurs of Campania, and a not so simple ambition, written into the very name: Zeus dresses the gods. The plan was fulfilled at both ends. Below, the brand became the uniform of southern Italy's neighbourhood football, from this Fiamma Sangiovannese upwards; above, it reached the professional game, dressing Salernitana, Frosinone, Crotone, Bari and Pro Vercelli, and leapt across sports and continents, from Spanish and Cameroonian volleyball to the Bulgarian Olympic Committee, exporting to over 50 countries with a reputation for fulfilling orders in 24 hours. From the church square of San Giovanni a Teduccio to Serie A, the lightning bolt in the logo keeps its promise: it strikes everywhere.
