About the club
Porto Fuori is a small town on the outskirts of Ravenna, among the canals and pines of the Adriatic coast, with a club that plays the most provincial football there is: the district categories of the Ravenna FIGC, at the communal ground dedicated to P. Miserocchi, on Via Combattenti Alleati. The club's name is simply the name of the town, with no marketing flourish, and Porto Fuori's life is made of youth age groups, summer tournaments and a senior team that rises and falls through the regional categories like any club its size. There is no grand honours list to tell nor a stadium with a legendary name; there is only the essential, the neighbourhood football that sustains a small Romagna town's weekend calendar. That is this piece's value: representing not the top of the system, but the wide base that holds it up.
