About the club

Getafe CF is a Spanish club founded in 1983 and based in the city of Getafe, on the southern edge of the Madrid metropolitan area. Traditionally associated with blue and white, the club established itself as a steady presence in La Liga from the early 2000s onwards. Green and white stripes appear on occasion in their alternative kits, stepping well outside the club's usual colour palette.
