About the club
Warrington Wolves are a rugby league club from Warrington, Cheshire, in the north of England. Founded in the nineteenth century, they are one of the established sides in the English Super League. Their traditional colours are yellow and blue, but kits have varied over the years, and the piece held in this collection, from 2013, features horizontal green and white hoops, a less typical combination for the club. That relative rarity makes it an interesting entry from a visual identity perspective. The archive currently holds one shirt representing the 2013 season.
