Benetton Treviso Rugby 2006/07 Home Shirt

An Italian rugby shirt is a moving classifieds page, and this is the collector's edition: Alice and Tamoil on the chest, Veneto Banca, Negro Automobili and Textil down the hoops, Metalsistem on the back, Assist on the flanks, Olimpias on the sleeves, which happens to be the Benetton group's own textile arm, and, beneath the number, the signature no other club on the planet can wear: United Colors of Benetton, the owner advertising itself on the shirt it already owns. Amid the commercial crowd, the two seals that matter: the tricolour scudetto with the ten title star and the rampant lion of Treviso. Erreà of Parma cut the hoops, and the 10 on the back is the fly half's number, the position that decided everything in that 2006/07 season: a championship won in the final, in extra time, against Viadana, with Goosen's kicks sealing the 13th scudetto.
