The story

The shirt from the top of the world. In May 2013, Yeovil beat Brentford at Wembley in the play-off final and reached the unthinkable: the Championship, England's second tier, for the first time in over a century of existence, becoming the smallest club in the division. This Sondico dressed that one-off adventure, with the town's coat of arms on the chest, W+S Recycling as sponsor and, on the back, the detail that sums up Huish Park football: Tamburino, a Yeovil Italian restaurant, in the spot where the giants place multinationals. The 13 carries official Football League numbering, certifying match specification. The season began with victory at Millwall and ended in relegation, with Ishmael Miller as top scorer and record attendances at the Glovers' home, but that hardly matters: there was a year when Yeovil played Leeds, QPR and champions Leicester, and this shirt was there. No small club ever dreamed so high in hoops so green.
