Cesano Boscone Rugby

Cesano Boscone is a small town pressed against Milan, southwest of the Lombard capital, and since 1978 it has had a rugby club with an animal name and a serious face: the Cinghiali, the wild boars, a snarling mascot that has presided over the crest since the founding. Born with a modestly sized first team, as the club's own history likes to recall, it grew to cover every age group, from under 10s to veterans, over 300 members and a youth trophy, the Topolino, considered Italy's most important development tournament. In 2020, the Cinghiali joined forces with two other historic clubs from southern Milan, Chicken Rugby of Rozzano and the Mastini of Opera, forming Rugby Milano Sud, a joint development project that did not erase the original identity, only added two more to it. This collection's green and white shirt predates that union, from the days when the boars played alone and under their own name.
