Cesano Boscone Rugby 2016 Home Shirt

Light and dark green split by a white diagonal across the shoulders, a classic rugby polo collar, and the snarling wild boar above the date 1978, next to the Cesano Boscone Rugby signature in italics. This is the pre merger era shirt, from when the Cinghiali still played under their own name, made by Macron of Bologna, the same house that dresses Benetton Treviso at the top tier of Italian rugby, here working for a neighbourhood club at the opposite end of the national map. On the back, a giant orange 28, a number far beyond the usual 1 to 15 starters, a sign of a wide squad at a development club, with many players rotating through age groups. It is the collection's second rugby shirt, and it completes a small pair of opposites: Benetton play national championship finals, the Cinghiali play to keep a small town south of Milan alive. Both are equally green and white hoops.
