Pompeii is known for a volcano and a city frozen in time, but the world of sport knows it for something else: it is home to Legea, one of the three corners, with Zeus of Torre Annunziata and Givova of Scafati, of the improbable Neapolitan teamwear triangle. Founded in 1990 by the Acanfora family, Legea grew by dressing Italian football from the bottom up, from provincial leagues to Serie B and Serie A, and spread its catalogue across the entire amateur planet, from Italy to the Dutch sports halls of this collection. The family also gave it a chapter worthy of the Dassler brothers: from a disagreement among the Acanforas, rival Givova was born in 2008, the Puma to this Vesuvian Adidas, and Scafati and Pompeii took to fighting over the same dressing rooms. The most surreal moment came in 2010, when Legea became the brand of the most improbable World Cup story of all, dressing North Korea in South Africa. From the futsal of Ciro's friends to the most closed national team on the planet, Legea's catalogue knows no borders, only orders.
