About the country

Mexico has a modest but genuine place in the green-and-white stripes tradition. This collection brings together six shirts that trace that aesthetic thread through Mexican football. The club represented is Santos Laguna, founded in 1983 and based in Torreón, whose green-and-white colours make horizontal stripes a natural fit in their visual identity. A regular presence in the Liga MX and a competitor in the CONCACAF Champions League, Santos Laguna is one of the more consistent examples of this look in North American football. A small archive, but a telling reminder that stripes run through the game across the entire continent.
